We wish that Islands Brygge South will be expelenced as a new an modern part of Copenhagen with its own character and identity. The buildings are fit into enclaves or Islands on the green. The different Islands appear as group of buildings sculptured after the landscape specifics inherent in the area. The buildings are divided into distinct units with the potential to be buildt in different stages over the years. The presence of the Harbour and the Common as a strong identity all over the site, allows for great diversity and architectonic variety both within the enclaves and among the different Islands.
